Installing the NUIM thesis template for lyx (with MiKTex):
- copy udthesis.sty and tcd-fancyhdr.sty to C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.5\tex\latex\base
- copy udthesis.layout to C:\Documents and Settings<\Username>\Application Data\lyx1.4.x\layouts
- run MiKTex->Settings, Refresh FNDB, update format
- open lyx and click on tool->reconfigure
- restart lyx
- Copy the apa-good.bst style to the directory C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.7\bibtex\bst\apa-good
- In lyx run Tools > TeX Information > Rescan and make sure apa-good appears on the list.

I like this template,everything works except i cannot export to pdf, pdflatex generates an error:
LaTeX Error: Unknown graphics extension: .eps.
any ideas how i can fix it

Hello,
I have had a similar problem to above and can compile the DVI fine. However, could you please tell me how to make this into a .pdf file?

Dear Sir/madam,
The template works fine but i ca’t compile a pdf or DVI. When I click the pdf or dvi icon i get the statement ‘buffer-view pdf2′ on the left hand bottom of the screen. Anyone knows how to fix it. I am really stuck and my whole thesis is in there.
Any help will be most welcome.
